Who Are These People?*

* – and why do you vote for them?

Who are these people running for office?  How well do you know them?  How well do they know you?  Why do you vote for the people you vote for?  How many laws do you need applied to you?  Do the people you vote for work in your best interests?

I ask these questions mainly because I don’t believe in the concept of governance nor do I believe in the concept of countries.  I believe in individualism and the individual.  The problem with government is that if you don’t believe in the direction your elected officials are taking your country, state, or municipality, you are screwed.  (You are screwed even if you do believe, but you just are too blind to realize it.)

“Government is needed to build roads, educate people, and to stabilize a group of people” is a myth created by those who benefit from government.  Roads and education were originally private ventures in the United States.  They have both cost more than the rate of inflation every year with worse results.  Governments do not stabilize.  They wage wars against other governments.  People die as a result.

I have no problem with people working together in groups as long as everybody in the group agrees with the premise of the group.  I am not talking about a democracy where a majority agree while a minority do not.  Ask gay people and Muslims how democracy is working for them.

I an not an extraordinary person with unlimited skills, but I have more faith in leading myself than in being led.  I know my purpose, my motives, my skills and my weaknesses and in a free society can utilize all of them to their full potential.

Democrats and Republicans (and to a lesser extent, all other parties) rely on a lemmings mentality from the masses.  They need people who want to be led and are willing to live with the consequences of being led.  One of the consequences is taxation.  Governments need to take your money (without your consent) to operate and function.  They also play with people’s emotions instead of letting people think things through.  The result of this mentality in the United States has been war, corruption, perpetual debt and the dumbing of the people.

Anarchy is the only viable solution.  Critics will say that anarchy is not viable because it would bring chaos.  Governments start war.  War is the ultimate chaos.  War requires the playing with emotions so that people can kill people who have never bothered them.  It is pawns killing pawns while the kings enjoy wine.

If you must vote on election day, vote for yourself for every office.  You can do a better job in making the decisions that matter most to you than any politician ever could.

Advice for Republicrats

As much as I like to say, “Hang it up!” and as much as I think Republicans and Democrats should hang it up, I am going to offer some advice to both sides:  Listen to your base.

The truth is the only genuine centrists left are the apathetic and the “once-a-year” voters.  The majority of Republicans are conservative and the majority of Democrats are liberal (at least at the grassroots level).  Politicians are not catering to you because they know they can count on your vote because he or she isn’t “the other candidate.”  Politicians cater to the indifference in hoping they can persuade more indifferent people then their opponents.

My advice for Republicans and Democrats is to vote for the candidate who most represents your values in the primary.  Don’t worry if the candidate is electable in a general election.  If you feel the candidate of your choice is not electable, then take a closer look at your values.

One reason why people think both parties are the same is because politicians from both parties cater to the centrists (and the fascists, but I’ll save that discussion for another time.  😀 )  It’s the two parties’ catering to the center thay causes the most flip-flopping of power between the two parties.

If you want someone with the same values as you elected, vote ONLY for those candidates that share your values the most with you.  If there is too much wiggle room between you and your party’s candidate, then take a pass on Election Day.  Don’t vote out of fear and compromise your values.  It damages your party’s reputation in the long run.  Republicans can no longer be considered a fiscally conservative party because their party spent like drunken sailors when they were in power.  Democrats can no longer be considered a “Peace Party” because they are in power now and we are no closer to ending either the war in Iraq or Afghanistan any time soon.

If you believe in your philosophy, you must allow your party to lose if your party’s candidate does not adequately represent your point of view.  If your views are not adequately represented and you truly believe in your views, you must allow the party to win and prove that their philosophy works.

I am going to be frank.  The problem with both parties (and to a lesser extent, third parties), is they are so concerned about being electable, that they overlook other qualities like leadership, intelligence, and especially principle.

Don’t vote for a centrist.  They only take bad ideas from Democrats and combine them with bad ideas from Republicans.  There are options you cane take if your party’s candidate does not fit your principles:

• Vote for a third party or independent candidate that is closer to your views.
• Write in somebody who does have your principles.
• Sit the election out and relieve yourself of having blood on your hands for not voting for an unprincipled candidate.

I will be honest with you.  Even with the advice I am giving, I would still rather eat glass than vote for a Democratic or Republican candidate.  I will only vote for candidates with a radical libertarian agenda, because to vote for anybody else would give a false impression that I approve of that candidate’s non-libertarian stances.

The future of our country (and to a lesser extent, the reputation of your party) demands that you vote for a candidate with principles and will not cater to the centrists who know nothing about politics.

Scott Brown and What’s Wrong With America

Scott Brown is not what’s wrong with America.  What is wrong with America is that Democrats and Republicans both vote on rhetoric more than substance.  Last night only proves my points.

The media painted Scott Brown as a fiscal conservative.  Scott Brown gets painted as such because the only comparison the media makes is against the Democratic candidate.  When compared to a real fiscal conservative like Joe Kennedy, Brown is much closer fiscally to the liberal Martha Coakley.

Some people will say it’s unfair to compare fiscal conservatism between a Republican and a Libertarian, but it is fair to compare fiscal conservatism between one Republican and other Republicans.  Scott Brown fails here also.  He was an author to the infamous “RomneyCare”, which isn’t much different than the Senate version of “ObamaCare.”  He also had a high spending record among Republican state senators in Massachusetts as well as a poor record in voting for tax cuts.

The problem is most voters have become so hung up with voting based on labels (Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Liberal, etc.) and political soundbites that few people bother to take the time to see what legislation our elected officials are writing and voting for.  The problems we are facing isn’t from apathetic voters; it’s from apathetic voting.

The Case for Ahmnodt Heare for President

Who is Ahmnodt Heare?  He is an independent candidate running for President of the United States.  He ran in 2008 and is running in 2012.  Looking at his platform and position on issues will lead you to two conclusions:  He is not a Democrat and he is not a Republican.

Abortion is a controversial issue.  Some people believe life begins at conception while others believe it believes at birth.  Ahmnodt Heare believes that life begins at 40.

He refuses to raise money or spend money on his campaign, claiming he wants to show he’s a “fiscal conservative.”  He insists on running as a “write-in” candidate because he believes people should be allowed to vote for whoever they want, not just the candidates on the ballot.

Ahmnodt Heare takes some positions that border on bizarre.  He observes Vanna White’s birthday as a holiday, but “not because I am a Vanna White Supremacist” as he has claimed.  He would pull all troops out of the Middle East and invade Canada for the damage Canada has done to America’s entertainment industry.

His campaign slogan says a lot.  It’s not just a slogan, it sums up how politicians treat their constituents.  “Ahmnodt Heare for America.  Ahmnodt Heare for You.”
